How to Select the Correct Dockboard
1. Determine capacity – Weight of forklift plus maximum load carried.

2. Determine width – We recommend 18″ to 24″ wider than the overall pallet and lift trucks. Remember, safety curbs take up 6″ of usable space. Example: 60″ wide dockboard has 54″ usable space.

3. Determine length – Length is determined by maximum height difference between dock and truck floor.
